i think i’m
the only one
as i take a journey into
those big brown eyes
with the extravagant lashes
clearing out the
ugly debris of the world
i
see my
reflection
glimpsing back at me
i appear euphoric
i’m in a warm place
surrounded by
adoration & loyalty
my head resting
against her breast
existing
with every heartbeat
but it all came to an end
as the lashes
made way for
someone else
